Material: Iphone 13, tape measure

Idea: In this piece, I juxtaposed two photographs, mainly featuring myself entangled with a tape measure around my hands and neck. I aim to convey a sense of control and constraint through this imagery. The tape measure serves as a representation of my theme, as it inherently symbolizes standards of measurement and a sense of order. However, I have continuously felt confined by the rules imposed by my parents.

Progress: I first wrapped a tape measure around my hands and neck, ensuring to stay in a dark environment, and captured this series of photos by using a flash. As mentioned earlier, the tape measure serves a purpose that aligns with my theme. Finally, I added some filters to create a specific atmosphere.

    Its lovely, maybe call attention to the necklace as a key to a lock, saying "You belong to someone else"? which is not ok. Really powerful juxtaposition :)

Material: iPhone 13 Idea:  I wanted to express hope, so I used sunlight. I tried to run towards the sun to reflect my vision of the bright future instead of being controlled and always stay in the dark. Process:  I found a sunny day, set up the phone holder in a place where the sun could reach it and shown the most , and then I performed the running action. Finally some filters and elements of sunlight were used to add texture to the image.

Idea:  I want to convey hope through the blossoming of flowers in this photo. Because the blossoming of flowers represents the rebirth and growth of life, it is closely associated with positive emotions and future hope. Therefore, it can be closely related to my theme.
