Sophie Hang

Idea: Since I will still focusing on hope, I want to make a color contrast in this piece. The picture below is the reference I found. By using the flower as the object of hope again, I will emphasize on flowers this time and make me in the background vague and dark, which reveals the rebirth and my desire. 

Material: Iphone 13 Idea:  I want to convey hope through the blossoming of flowers in this photo. Because the blossoming of flowers represents the rebirth and growth of life, it is closely associated with positive emotions and future hope. Therefore, it can be closely related to my theme, which is find hope after the oppression from my parents. Process: I stood in front of a French window, holding flowers in my hands, and positioned my phone for my friend to take a picture. After taking the photo, I increased the brightness and reduced the saturation to make the overall picture appear brighter and whiter. Then I found a photo of blooming flowers and overlaid it onto the original photo, blending and adjusting it to achieve the final result as it appears now.

Material: iPhone 13 Idea:  I wanted to express hope, so I used sunlight. I tried to run towards the sun to reflect my vision of the bright future instead of being controlled and always stay in the dark. Process:  I found a sunny day, set up the phone holder in a place where the sun could reach it and shown the most , and then I performed the running action. Finally some filters and elements of sunlight were used to add texture to the image.

Idea: I will still keep my focus on the concept of hope. The reference photos below are basically what I aim at this time. I will use the running scene to show my escape and the bright future that is waiting for me.

Material: canon a630 Idea: Beginning this piece, I will focus on the concept of hope, which is the positive side, gradually shifting away from the negative emotions and expressions that were present before. This piece mainly symbolizes my escape from parental control and the attainment of freedom and hope. Idea: I embody hope and freedom through an upward perspective, and to complete the composition of the photo, I placed tree branches within it. By adding some bright warm-toned filters, the overall image appears less oppressive, reflecting positivity, vitality, and hopefulness.
